私たちは、大阪府三島郡島本町で活動する国際交流団体です。

多様化を続ける国際化社会の中で、町民に異文化の理解と交流の場を提供することを目的に1988年に設立されました。

2017年にアメリカケンタッキー州の Frankfort 市と姉妹都市提携を結んでからは、使節団や留学生の来町時にボランティアで通訳ガイドなどの支援を行ったり、ケンタッキー在住の市民とZoomによる交流なども行っています。

Hello, we are Shimamoto International Cultural Exchanging Association.

Welcome to our website! Our institution, established in 1988, is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding for citizens in today's diverse global society.

Since 2017, following the sister city agreement between Shimamoto and Frankfort in Kentucky, we have actively facilitated volunteer interpreter services for diplomatic missions and short-term international students. Additionally, we engage with citizens of Frankfort through virtual Zoom meetings.

Our activities extend beyond English to include languages such as Korean and French. Excitingly, this year, we are launching new French language learning activities!
